The City of Burnaby Citizen Support Services, provides a Shop-By-Phone Grocery Program. 604-294-7980. If you are elderly or have a disability, you can order groceries by phone. A volunteer will do the shopping at a local supermarket, and the store will deliver it C.O.D.

For those homebound elders who are unable to prepare a balanced meal and are unable to safely attend a Community Dining Site, we offer home delivered meals Monday through Friday. For those in need, frozen meals or cold suppers are available for weekends or holidays. Eligibility for home-delivered meals is based on a needs assessment conducted in the elder’s home by our Nutrition Assessor.
