Peace of Mind - Caring for Seniors at Home

Resources for seniors and their caregivers coping with long term care issues in
B.C.'s Lower Mainland. Vancouver, Canada
Last updated - September 7, 2009

Most older people prefer to stay at home even when their needs for care are great. As a result, family members take on responsibility for their care. This site's intent is to provide a list of available resources in B.C.'s Lower Mainland for seniors and their caregivers.

Peace of Mind's Ask The Expert Peter Silin, has created a web site called ElderPost.  Similar to the popular Craigslist, this site is for the public to advertise and find free equipment and services, caregiver resources, pre-owned equipment for sale, commercial services for seniors, and more.  It is also a great place for people to give away what they don't need - to know that their generosity helps out others who cannot afford to buy or rent equipment.  ElderPost is a place for people to be able to help each other.  Check it out today! Download the ElderPost Information Sheet here.
